If you are trying to get healthy and need ideas for healthy, yet tasty foods and drinks, check out this weight loss smoothies app. This app includes some simple weight loss smoothie recipes as well as some general health information and a place for you to share your favorite smoothie recipes.

Making smoothies is an art more than a science. There is no need to worry about an exact recipe because every piece of fruit has a different level of flavor so the exact same mixture can and will taste different from day to day.

When you are making a smoothie using frozen fruit, a good way to come up with the right mixture is to put in the frozen ingredients then completely cover them with the liquid ingredients.

When making smoothies with fresh fruit, it is a good idea to add less liquid because the fresh fruits & vegetables will add some of their own juice. After you have the fruit & juice mixed up, you just add ice until you get it to the texture you want.

Beware
These recipes could seriously derail your weight loss efforts. The base of the majority of the smoothies are milk, yogurt, and fruit. Dairy products produce an insulin (the fat storage hormone) response similar sugar and the fructose in fruit cant be used as energy until being converted to fat and deposited on your body. Both precisely the opposite of what youre trying to accomplish. Not knocking smoothies, I love em. Just saying these are not Weight Loss Smoothies!

Did load up for me waste of 3 mins of my life
Smoothie Recipes
Very limited and simple - too much so. Anyone can come up with these - blueberries, yogurt and milk. Duh! People needing recipes are beyond this. There is only ONE recipe under the veggie list that isnt predominantly fruit. Seriously. Dont waste your time. There are some really decent recipe apps. Nothing original here.

The few recipes are very simplistic. I mean, the first recipe on this app is for the blueberry smoothie which is "one part milk and one part blueberries and blend." It doesnt get much better than that. There are other, MUCH better smoothie apps on here.
